I am studio owner, producer, guitarist, singer and songwriter. I graduated from the music academy (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium) in 2004, and is now teaching americana there. I have my own carreer as a singer and songwriter in the band Barrow, that was nominated for a Danish Music Award (Danish Grammy) Folk Talent of the Year. That was following the release of the debut album, “Transition”, that I produced, recorded and mixed 100% analog at Skraaplan Recording. I am also a touring guitar player for Sko/Torp.
I started the construction of Skraaplan Recording in 2010, and everything was built from scratch in the former industrial grindery. I did most of the building myself, because I dig every aspect of recording; also the importance of the acoustics and the ambience of the room, that you're working in!
Being a professional musician myself, I know how important it is to be able to relax and enjoy being efficient and creative at the same time. Those are my main intentions with Skraaplan Recording.
